Reading through David Platt's book, Radical has really opened my eyes to what God has called us to live like.
I was born in America.
I have access to thousands of stores full of clothes.
I eat every day, never really starving.
I am selfish.
It's not that I'm intentionally selfish, but I live in my adequate home, wear my nice clothes, and say that I'm living in God's will.
I could've been born in a third world country.
I could've been born in a tribe that doesn't even have a written language.
Yet I am here typing this.
God didn't place me in America to enjoy the malls.
I wasn't born here to live in fancy homes or wear stylish clothes.
I'm here so that I may use all the I have to bring God glory.
I want to live like Jesus.
I want to trust that God will provide, and give all I have to others.
I don't want to just say that I have faith, I want to live like it.
I want to be radical.
